What is a Colophon?

GuessMedia.com is produced by David Christian Liedle on an Apple iMac (2nd-Gen “desk–lamp” body style) Macintosh using a 1.25GHz G4 PPC with 1GB of DDR SDRAM, running OSX 10.4.11 (Tiger). Development screen resolution is 1440x900 at 72dpi, custom ColorSync calibrated for accuracy and displayed at millions of colors. [ View David's iusethis.com profile ].

The background color is set to White (#FFFFFF), with Black (#000000) 14px text. The font order is set to Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif for your reading enjoyment. Layout is exclusively contained in <div> tags, with CSS styles linked in from external files. Pages are in various stages of compliance with XHTML 1.1 standards, minus a few allowances for Internet Explorer’s complete inability to function properly. Development is done by hand, from scratch, in Central Georgia, USA. The most frequently used editors are Smultron, TextWrangler, OpenKomodo, Emacs, and Dreamweaver–when–nobody’s–looking. This site runs on a prototype of the NMOX Server, PHP–MAX version.

The site is hosted on a CentOS Linux web server running Apache, MySQL, PHP, CGI and JSP. Our shared server is located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Testing is done in Firefox 3 (Beta2), Safari 3, Netscape Navigator 9 (R.I.P.), Opera 9, Shiira 2.2, iCab 4, OmniWeb, Amaya, Lynx 2.8, and the Net Renderer (yay!) for Internet Explorer 5.5 (eeuw!), 6 (ugh!), and 7 (meh). We’d love to own a license for BumperCar 2 as well, if any of you guys at Freeverse are feeling generous. ;]
