Learn with us! While the most beneficial area to our studio may be research (and the following development that occurs), we are also sharing the entire learning process here, start-to-finish. That means study and reference resources, too.
Research vs. Learning vs. Studying vs. Reference vs...
We have several categories on our site that may be confusing if not sorted out well. Research, Development, Learning, Exploring, Referencing, Studying... These are all terms with similar or related meanings. The following notes will help you understand how we categorize each one:
| Practical: R&D Grouping/DRE | Academic: Education Grouping/TRSL |

As an analogy, think of the automotive industry. You might start out by learning about cars: what they are, how they work, how to drive one... Next you're likely to study - i.e. go over the knowledge you've aquired to ensure its consistent availability to your mind. Even after you pass your driving test, you may pull out the manual for the car once in a while as a reference. Or you may explore other similar means of transportation, such as trucks or vans (likely by test-driving them) - perhaps even deciding to invent a new one. Once you've decided to invent a new vehicle, your research will produce prototypes and notes to yourself on the success or failure of various approaches to your problem. Assembling this research into a manufacturing process will require a series of smaller, proven processes working together to make up the whole. Your concept for a steering system needs to work with your concept for a power system, etc. Proving these concepts gives you access to a set of known working systems that can be assembled into a whole as you develop your new product.
By the way, the "T" in TRSL is for Teaching. And yes, there will be a section for that on our site in the future. ;] (DRE = Development, Research, Exploration; TRSL = Teaching, Reference, Study, Learning).
Current Research
We are currently researching Google Sitemap generation. Here's where we're looking for info:
Check back as we progress in our understanding. We're planning to create a Sitemap generation system of our own, and possibly release it as one of our Guess Media Services in the future.
